But that doesn’t mean Amadine lacks features, it just focuses its tools more on the creation of modern, vector–based graphics. The Draw tool combines a brush and freehand pencil for the creation of smooth lines, and the Width tool lets you easily manipulate points to create new shapes from paths.

There’s an accessible layers window with every path available for editing, as well as floating menus for color, geometry, and more — plus easy object selection and manipulation. There’s Apple Pencil support, easy gradient control, and more. It’s suited to users of multiple skill levels who want to work with vector graphics and is very good at modern, contemporary, or futuristic styles. Its path– based approach requires a slightly different level of understanding to some other apps, but the learning curve is manageable.
