Quickly toggle a session

To start or stop a session just Ctrl–click the Amphetamine menu bar icon. This will change to show your session has begun or ended. Its default session settings can be adjusted in preferences.

Set session length

If you want a bit more control over your session, click the menu bar icon. Under Start New Session, choose the session duration. You can set a time in minutes or hours, for a custom length, or until a certain time.

Apps & downloads

As well as that, you can tell Amphetamine to start a session when a particular app is running or while a file is downloading. For the former, click the menu bar icon and choose an app from the While App is Running menu.
