HOW TO Get more power with triggers

-

Add your first trigger

Open Amphetamine’s preferences from the menu bar, click the Triggers tab, then select Enable Triggers. Click “+” to add a new trigger and give it a name in the bar at the top of the window.

Set the criteria

Click the “+” to add criteria — there are lots of options. You can set a trigger for the number of displays you have connected or for when you add a new audio output. Click one and you will get options to define its values.

Finalize options

Below are some additional options. You can let the display sleep while keeping your Mac awake, decide whether closing your MacBook’s lid lets the machine sleep, and if a screen saver can run (and for how long).
