ARRANGE YOUR WORKSPACE WISELY
>>> There’s little point streamlining your Mac if your broader workspace is a mess. Therefore, make sure it’s similarly focused. Reduce distractions by minimizing peripherals and ensuring cables are accessible but out of sight. Mobile devices distract, so use them smartly: there are useful “docked” iPhone apps for when your device is charging — clocks and the like. Or use Bear Focus Timer ($1.99, apps.apple. com) to time work/break sessions where the timer only runs when your phone is face down. Similarly, stash your iPad or use it productively as a second screen, to monitor important data, or as a means to periodically blaze through email and thereby avoid Mail on your Mac.
