HOW TO Create, modify and share LUTs

Open image

Choose File > New from Photos. Give permission for Pixelmator to access Photos. Browse to an image. In the Tools sidebar, click on the Color Adjustments icon. Scroll down to turn on Custom LUT.

Explore LUTs

LUTs are gathered in five categories, such as Duotone. As you move the cursor over each LUT, you’ll see a preview of the image’s altered colors, tones and texture. Click to apply.

Customize LUT

We’ve used the Cinematic 04 LUT. Drag the Intensity slider to 75%. For an analogue look, use Vignette. Set Exposure to 30% and Softness to 20%. Turn on Grain to create a filmic look.
