HOW TO Take a photo with your Mac

Get set up

Make sure both your Mac and mobile device have Wi–Fi and Bluetooth turned on and signed into the same iCloud account. Continuity Camera works in Finder, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and more.

Choose your application

Ctrl–click in a document in the app you want to import the photo to, and then Import from iPhone > Take Photo. To scan a document, choose Import from iPhone > Scan Documents.

Take the photo

Point your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch at the subject or document you’re scanning and tap the shutter button. Tap Use Photo. The photo will appear in the app on your Mac or on the Desktop if you were in the Finder.
