Another set of helping hands

It’s important to add emergency contacts because they might be able to reach you before the emergency services if they are nearby. After an emergency call has finished, your iPhone will send your chosen contacts a message with your current location (unless you cancel the message). This works even if location services are disabled, in which case they will be temporarily enabled. If your location changes, your contacts will be told and you will get a new notification regarding this about 10 minutes later. That way, they always know where to go.
