San Fran–based Aer has thought of everything with its Day Sling 2, designed to be worn as a sling, rather than a fanny pack. It’s a big capacity pack, with three seperate zippered compartments, each featuring a soft lining, and smaller pockets to subdivide each section. There’s an internal lanyard for securing your keys, and it even has a pocket for a small tablet. Crucially, there’s a big hidden back pocket for hiding valuables.

The bag is constructed from 1680D Cordura ballistic, which is seriously tough, making the Day Sling 2 a great option if you plan on giving it some abuse. Zippers are chunky YKK with chunky toggles and feature water–resistant seams. The wide strap makes for a comfortable sling for hours on end, and there’s even a loop if you want to carry it with one hand. There are five colors: Black, Gray, Olive, Black Camo, and X–Pac.
