MAKE THE MOST OF SMART STACKS

The revamped widgets in iPadOS 15 make it even easier to see what matters most to you. One of the most useful widgets is Smart Stacks: a Smart Stack is a widget that changes during the day, so for example it might show you the news first thing in the morning and memories from Photos in the evening.

To add a Smart Stack, just long–press any empty bit of your Home Screen, tap the “+” sign in the top–left corner and then tap Smart Stack. You can then choose the size of Smart Stack you want to add.

Once your Smart Stack has been added, you can flip through it with a swipe. If you long–press and select Edit Stack you can also turn off the automatic Smart Rotation if you’d rather change the Stack manually. Like all widgets, your Smart Stacks work in both portrait and landscape modes.
