>>>WHAT’S NEW IN SAFARI
The most controversial changes in iPadOS 15 are some of the ones in Safari. The new Tab Bar changes the way tabs are displayed, taking up less space but making it hard to see which tab is actually active, and the way it changes color based on the website you’re looking at — what Apple calls Website Tinting — proved divisive. If you don’t like the changes, you can simply turn them off in Settings > Safari.
Safari looks different in other ways too. Shared With You shows you links others have sent you in Mail and Messages when you open the app, and you can now use Tab Groups to organize multiple tabs into saveable, easily switchable, synchronizable collections.
We love Web Extensions, little programs you can add to Safari to change how it looks or works. It’s also just like the Mac version, making it easy to find, install, and enable useful tools.
