UNIVERSAL CONTROL

IT WASN’T QUITE ready for the iPadOS 15 launch, but Universal Control is coming this autumn — it should be pretty soon, now that macOS Monterey is here; that’s because Universal Control won’t work with Macs running older versions of macOS. Universal Control enables you to share things across Macs and iPads, for example by using your Mac’s trackpad or mouse to drag a file from Mac to iPad or vice versa, or by using the same input devices on iPad and Mac so you can switch from device to device. It’s clever, works without significant lag, and is a lot of fun.
