Spark offers the cleanest interface out of all the apps we tested, where everything feels measured to perfection. Its inbox and compose windows are neat and clutter free, so rarely will you feel overwhelmed with cruft. The price of this is a bit more clicking to find things than we’d like, but it’s not awful.

Still, there are tons of great features included. Your inbox is sorted into People, Notifications, Newsletters, Pins, and Seen, making it easy to find the important stuff. You can undo send emails, snooze them, or schedule them to be sent at a set time. There’s natural language search, follow–up reminders, and a handy built–in calendar.

You get all that for free, which makes it tremendous value considering its power (you can pay for team features, but there’s not really any need for individual users). Spark feels like an app that really understands the pain points of modern email, and how to solve them.
