>>> IMPROVED APPS IN WATCHOS 8
1 Home
The redesign of the Home app is not immediately obvious, but the app now highlights the HomeKit accessories it thinks you’re most likely to want to control based on the time of day and puts them at the top of the app.
2 Health
The Health app now records your respiratory rate when you’re asleep, and it works on every Apple Watch that can run watchOS 8. You can use this data to see if you’re breathing irregularly and identify any trends.
3 Workouts
There are two new workouts in the Workouts app. The first is a new Pilates session, and the second is Tai Chi. If you subscribe to Apple’s Fitness+ service, you’ll also find new Pilates workout videos on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
4 Find things
The Find My functionality has been improved and you can now locate missing Apple devices and AirTags. The new Find Devices and Find Items apps enable you to do that manually, and you’ll be notified if you leave things.
5 Focus
In addition to Do Not Disturb and Theater Mode, your Apple Watch now has the same Focus modes as your iPhone. This enables you to customize apps and notifications so you only get the notifications you want.
6 Timers
Here’s one for the cooks: you can now set multiple timers, so for example if you’re doing an epic cook you can have a different timer for each individual component of the final meal. We use this all the time via Siri commands.
