WHY DID HIGH SIERRA SUDDENLY GET APPLE UPDATES?

Although it’s been over a year since the last security update for High Sierra, Apple still updates for XProtect and MRT, and to ProVideo formats, MXF Plugins, and other support files. These are listed in the Installations item, under Software, in System Information.
