Recover deleted files

-

>>> We’ve said that when you delete something from iCloud, it’s deleted from all your devices. And that’s true, but thankfully Apple has also built in a safeguard against any accidental deletions that may happen.

If you log in to iCloud.com and click on iCloud Drive, you’ll see a little icon at the bottom right of the window saying Recently Deleted. Click on that to open the Recently Deleted folder, and you’ll see any files or folders you’ve deleted from iCloud in the last 30 days; you’ll see a label under each file or folder name telling you how long it’s got left before it’s gone forever. If you want to bring a file back, select it and then click on Recover. You can also recover deleted contacts, calendars, and bookmarks by clicking on your name and then on Account Settings.

?? ?? There’s a Recently Deleted album in iCloud Photos too, so there’s no danger of accidentally zapping one of your favorite family photos.
