Scan historic records
The Live Text feature in iOS lets you quickly capture text from the camera as you need to. This is especially useful for capturing the detail from documents that relate to your collection. You can also scan paper documents using the scan feature in Apple Notes. There are multiple features built into iOS and macOS to help you catalog your collections.
WHERE AND WHEN
Try to make use of the data built into the various areas of macOS and iOS. Even notes such as the date, time, and location of photos can add meaning and evidence to any of your collections.
USE IT ANYWHERE
The captured text and detail can be shared to many different apps including those designed for collection management. We would advise to grab as much detail as you can and to then use it wisely to add more value.
ANALOG TO DIGITAL
Live text lets you magically capture any text that is shown within the camera view. You can copy it and paste it into an entry to instantly add much more detail to your collection. It will help you complete your database.
THE ALTERNATIVE
You don’t need to use the Live Text feature. The scanning option in Apple Notes will also serve to capture the information you need in potentially a more realistic way. It can offer detail in an object that feels realistic.
