Back up your collection

It can take a lot of time to record a large collection so you should ensure that it is backed up if a major technical issue occurs. iCloud can help a lot if you choose an app solution that works on all of your devices, but you do have other options, too.

1 Check for compatibility

We would suggest to look for backup features before you pay for any app. Think carefully about the services an app works with before you buy it.

2 Go third–party

Third–party apps like Dropbox can work as an extra backup and if you use the service for very few tasks, you may be able to use it for free.

3 Keep a file

Ensure that you have one available file or folder for your collection. This can act as the final security measure if problems occur.
