How we tested

The ease of pairing and switching between Bluetooth devices was tested, as well as overall comfort during long listening sessions. A range of audio sources was used incuding Apple Music, movies streamed over Netflix, and ripped, lossless audio originally from CD. Headphones were tested with noise cancelling on and off, and an assessment made of the quality and accuracy of their reproduction. Where advanced features like Apple’s Spatial Audio were available, these were also tested with a range of relevant sources.
