HOW TO PUT TWO APPS INTO SPLIT SCREEN MODE?

Bring the first window to the front. Hover the pointer over the green button at the top left until a menu appears, and pick where to put that window. With that in place, click on the other window you want and they’ll be shown in Split Screen mode until restored with Escape.
