Ride up to the ledge at a comfortable speed. Try and get almost parallel with the ledge as you hop on.
Maintain a steady grind while leaning over the bars a little. Push your back wheel into the edge of the ledge and keep your front wheel parallel with the ramp.
Keep pressure on the back wheel and keep the front wheel pointed where you want to go.
Shift your weight back to the centre of the scooter as you approach the end of the ledge. Start to bend your knees to prepare to hop off the ledge.
