Lions donate wheelchair
MANJIMUP’S Home and Community Care staff have gratefully received a new $800 wheelchair from the Manjimup Lions Club.
Home and Community Care manager Liz Lockyear said the new “state of the art” chair would replace equipment that had been in use for around 15 years.
“It’s a brilliant piece of equipment, so thank you,” Ms Lockyear said. Lions Club president Dee Roebuck said the club was always trying to give back.
HACC manager Liz Lockyear with Manjimup Lions president Dee Roebuck and HACC staff Carol Macmillan and Sharmane MacDonald as Lions treasurer Wayne Newton test the new wheelchair.
