Pho­tog­ra­phy con­test

PHO­TOG­RA­PHY en­thu­si­asts are in­vited to cap­ture the South West for a chance to be fea­tured in the 2019 This South West Life cal­en­dar.

South West De­vel­op­ment Com­mis­sion act­ing chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Re­becca Ball said the cal­en­dar would fea­ture im­ages of the re­gion’s land­scapes and land­marks, and cre­ativ­ity was key.

“Get creative and show­case what makes the re­gion such a spe­cial place to live and visit,” she said.

Lions do­nate wheel­chair

MAN­JIMUP’S Home and Com­mu­nity Care staff have grate­fully re­ceived a new $800 wheel­chair from the Man­jimup Lions Club.

Home and Com­mu­nity Care man­ager Liz Lock­year said the new “state of the art” chair would re­place equip­ment that had been in use for around 15 years.

“It’s a brilliant piece of equip­ment, so thank you,” Ms Lock­year said. Lions Club pres­i­dent Dee Roe­buck said the club was al­ways try­ing to give back.
