Live acts add spice to show schedule
THIS year’s Make Smoking History Warren District Agricultural Show has lots of live entertainment.
The music kicks off from 3pm on Saturday with Lucy Angela.
Bridgetown’s Short & Curly will perform from 4pm to 7pm and then Perth rock ‘n’ show band Chain Reaction will play until 9pm, pause for fireworks and then return until 10pm.
The main entertainment stage is sponsored by the Manjimup-Bridge
town Times, Tigers Football Club, Allstates Farms Manjimup and Elders Manjimup.
Fireworks will be held on Saturday night instead of Friday to round out the family-friendly day.
Warren District Agricultural Society president Trish Keegan said she hoped everyone had an enjoyable day.
“I would like to thank all our sponsors who continue to give generously
and help make this event successful and the dedicated committee members who spend many hours putting the show together,” she said.
Other entertainment throughout the day includes a bucking bull, K9 Connections agility dog displays, bubble soccer, Team Carnage extreme 4X4, vintage machinery, trade and food stalls and sideshow alley.
Chester and Carri the Times Tigers will be around and about at this year’s Make Smoking History Warren District Agricultural Show, trying to keep out of trouble while having a great time.
The best decorated scarecrow competition will return to the show this year.
