Live acts add spice to show sched­ule

THIS year’s Make Smok­ing His­tory War­ren Dis­trict Agri­cul­tural Show has lots of live en­ter­tain­ment.

The mu­sic kicks off from 3pm on Saturday with Lucy An­gela.

Bridgetown’s Short & Curly will per­form from 4pm to 7pm and then Perth rock ‘n’ show band Chain Re­ac­tion will play un­til 9pm, pause for fire­works and then re­turn un­til 10pm.

The main en­ter­tain­ment stage is sponsored by the Man­jimup-Bridge

town Times, Tigers Foot­ball Club, All­states Farms Man­jimup and El­ders Man­jimup.

Fire­works will be held on Saturday night in­stead of Fri­day to round out the fam­ily-friendly day.

War­ren Dis­trict Agri­cul­tural So­ci­ety pres­i­dent Tr­ish Kee­gan said she hoped ev­ery­one had an en­joy­able day.

“I would like to thank all our spon­sors who con­tinue to give gen­er­ously

and help make this event suc­cess­ful and the ded­i­cated com­mit­tee mem­bers who spend many hours put­ting the show to­gether,” she said.

Other en­ter­tain­ment through­out the day in­cludes a buck­ing bull, K9 Con­nec­tions agility dog dis­plays, bub­ble soccer, Team Car­nage ex­treme 4X4, vin­tage ma­chin­ery, trade and food stalls and sideshow al­ley.

Chester and Carri the Times Tigers will be around and about at this year’s Make Smok­ing His­tory War­ren Dis­trict Agri­cul­tural Show, try­ing to keep out of trou­ble while hav­ing a great time.

The best dec­o­rated scare­crow com­pe­ti­tion will re­turn to the show this year.
