Nan­nup Fe­si­val a big hit

THE streets of Nan­nup hosted the town’s 29th an­nual Nan­nup Mu­sic Fes­ti­val at the week­end.

The 2018 fes­ti­val saw pun­ters en­joy mu­sic, street the­atre, mar­ket stalls and a range of work­shops in­clud­ing some on men­tal and sex­ual health.

More than 100 dif­fer­ent acts per­formed across the four-day fes­ti­val from Fri­day to Mon­day.

Kristy Houghton, of Mar­garet River, joins lo­cal per­ma­cul­ture ex­pert Jeff Nu­gent and fes­ti­val vol­un­teer Sam Mad­di­son, of Al­bany, to find a comfy spot on the grass ahead of The No­madics set at The Am­phithe­atre.

The No­madics cap­ti­vated the crowd at The Am­phithe­atre on Saturday with their mu­sic and sto­ries of their unique lifestyle.
