Break­fast for spe­cial day

ABOUT 80 peo­ple gath­ered in Bridgetown’s Lesser Hall on Thurs­day morn­ing for a spe­cial break­fast.

Or­gan­ised by youth ad­vo­cacy group Black­wood Youth Ac­tion, the break­fast was held to mark In­ter­na­tional Women’s Day.

Shar­ing in­spi­ra­tional sto­ries as part of the event were guest speak­ers from di­verse back­grounds, rang­ing from women work­ing at Tal­i­son Lithium to singer-song­writer Tracey Bar­nett and wild­flower en­tre­pre­neur Heather Domoney.
