Competitors flock to campdraft
MORE than 120 competitors took part in the Southern Forests Campdraft Club’s inaugural draft at the weekend.
The two-day event was held at the Warren Equestrian Centre and included the categories of novice, maiden, encouragement, restricted open, open horse, junior and juvenile drafts.

Competitors from the event came from as far as Albany and Carnarvon.
Winners included Bakers Hill’s Heath Stewart in the open section, Dardanup’s Ruve Tyler in the maiden section, Fitzroy Crossing’s Keith Anderson in the novice section, Dardanup’s Freya Kerr in the juvenile section and Narrogin’s Kye Keilar in the junior section.
Keith Murray, of Gidgegannup, competes early on Saturday.
