En­tries open for Cit­i­zen of the Year

The Shire of Man­jimup Cit­i­zen of the Year award nom­i­na­tions are open. Pem­ber­ton’s Mark Hud­son, who vol­un­teers with the Pem­ber­ton Camp School, St John Am­bu­lance and the Pem­ber­ton Visi­tor Cen­tre, won the award last year and is call­ing for oth­ers to nom­i­nate.

Cit­i­zen of the Year Award nom­i­na­tions are open for res­i­dents in the Shire of Man­jimup.

Mark Hud­son won 2018 Cit­i­zen of the Year for his vol­un­teer work at St John Am­bu­lance, Pem­ber­ton visi­tors cen­tre and for start­ing up Pem­ber­ton moun­tain bike park.

There are four award cat­e­gories; the over­all win­ner, un­der-25, over65, and com­mu­nity group or event.

Nom­i­na­tions close on Oc­to­ber 31. Awards are pre­sented on Aus­tralia Day. Holly Thomp­son
