Blue­grass man­dolin mae­stro to per­form

War­ren Arts Coun­cil has or­gan­ised for blue­grass man­dolin mae­stro Mike Comp­ton to come to Man­jimup on Novem­ber 14.

Comp­ton has been la­belled by the New York Times as a new blue­grass in­stru­men­tal hero for his man­dolin play­ing.

He has won Grammy awards for his mu­si­cal work, in­clud­ing the O Brother, Where Art Thou? film sound­track.

He will per­form at Four Aces Bar at the Man­jimup Ho­tel.

Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Man­dolin player from Blue­grass Park­way Paul Duff will also be giv­ing a talk be­fore the con­cert.

Comp­ton will be play­ing one of Duff’s man­dolins dur­ing his con­cert.

Blue­grass mu­si­cian Mike Comp­ton will per­form in Man­jimup.
