Life With­out Bar­ri­ers pro­vides dis­abil­ity ser­vices in Man­jimup and has moved of­fices to the Man­jimup Com­mu­nity Re­source Cen­tre.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion sup­ports peo­ple with phys­i­cal and in­tel­lec­tual dis­abil­i­ties to live their best life.

Within the com­mu­nity it sup­ports 21 clients and em­ploys seven sup­port work­ers, in an area bor­dered by Wal- pole, North­cliffe, Nan­nup and Green- bushes.

It of­fers help with bud­get­ing, dayto-day liv­ing, in­de­pen­dence at home and also help with in­te­grat­ing clients into the com­mu­nity.

Co­or­di­na­tor Donna Masters de­scribed the or­gan­i­sa­tion as cre­ative.

“We al­ways find a cre­ative way to make things hap­pen so the clients get the very best we can of­fer,” she said.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion works with the Dis­abil­ity Ser­vices Com­mis­sion to help clients with na­tional fund­ing and also works and shares an of­fice at the Com­mu­nity Re­source Cen­tre with Joblife Em­ploy­ment, who help peo­ple with a dis­abil­ity find en­joy­able, sus­tain­able work, as well as work­ing with lo­cal em­ploy­ers to help them find great can­di­dates.
