Community members who all play a part in the wedding industry in the local area gathered together at Silkwood Estate on Saturday.

The guests ranged from limousine drivers, florists, dressmakers and owners of wedding venues in the area.

Silkwood, a popular venue for wedding functions, showcased a range of food and drinks and a Perth wedding dress designer brought down some of her dresses for show.

Event organiser Kim Starkie said she was grateful to the winery for hosting the event and providing the food platters and wines for guests.
