Australian Red Cross is seeking volunteers to help with its Community Visitors Scheme. Trained volunteers will be matched to make a regular social visit to an isolated elderly person living in the community or in an aged care facility. You will visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by your friendship and companionship.
