COOKS – show us your tarts.

That’s the call that has gone to all good country cooks for this year’s Tolmie Tarts competition at the Tolmie Sports Day.

Going back to the ‘sweet or savory’ tart the competition could get heated if we can go by former years.

This popular event introduced several years ago was originally set for Tolmie Tarts to show the best of cooks’ recipes offering tarts of all flavors.

And not forgetting the young cooks - there is a section for the kids with decorated cup cakes being the popular choice.

Tarts are requested to be at the Tolmie Hall prior to judging which starts at 11am.

The Tolmie Tarts competition will be judged again by Janet MacDonald and is sponsored by Wombat Hills Cottages.

FRIST WINNER: Winner of the first Tolmie Tarts judging four years ago was Danni Schneider – now a permanent resident of Tolmie, pictured with judge Janet MacDonald – will Danni enter again this year?
