TUESDAY’S nine hole event saw seven ladies on the course, with Sam Bailey (24) winning with 21pts, runnerup Leslie Anderson (21) with 18pts and one lineball to Anne Watkins with 17pts.

Wednesday’s shotgun start drew a few more players with the earlier start time, so this will continue to be an option while the weather is so hot.

The winner in division one was Dawn Breadon (22) with 36pts from Sam Bailey (24) with 35pts, and division two was won by Marion Mitchell (29) with 40pts from Anne Watkins (32) with 33pts on countback.

Lineballs went to Marg FrankeWilliams, Millie Cumming, Marion Sargeant and Louise Calvert-Jones all on 33pts, Lyn Poulson and Linda Terry 32pts and Sue Wilson 31pts, while nearest the pin went to Gayle Wells third hole, Lyn Poulson seventh, and Millie Cumming on the 16th.

Thursday’s George Walker was won by Gayle Wells (12) with 19pts and two lineballs went to Sue Parsons and Sam Bailey both with 15pts on a countback.

Saturday’s stroke round had only seven players with Jacqui Smithwick (30) winning with 73nett on a countback and one lineball to Sue Parsons also on 73nett.

Nearest the pin on the third was Donna Sedgman and the 16th was Andrea Marsden, with the putting won by Jacqui with 29 putts on a countback.

This Wednesday the girls are playing a stableford round which is summer cup and Saturday is also a stableford round.
