Calling all budding junior motorcyclists
MANSFIELD Junior Motorcycle Club is hosting a venue for the 2014 Motorcycling Australia National Come and Try Day at Merrijig this Sunday.
The Mansfield club focuses on junior motorcycle rider development, with the aim of helping young riders learn the necessary skills in order to ride a dirt bike safely, while having fun in a safe, supervised environment.
Riders from age 4 to 18 are catered for, and the club is affiliated with Motorcycling Victoria (MV), operating under their regulations for junior riders.
At the come and try day, and at all club days, certified MV coaches provide free coaching and advice to help young riders develop their skills while learning all aspects of responsible and safe dirt bike riding.
Come and Try Day is being held at McCormack Park, McCormack Lane, Merrijig, and registration is at 8.30am, and newcomers are welcome to attend that day, or any of the club open days.
You don’t have to be the next Max Fricke to join in, just come along with a willingness to listen, learn, and have fun.
At the open day, all new riders will receive a free annual recreational licence, valued at $110 to help you get started.
Details are available on the website www.mansfieldmc.com, or Facebook, otherwise contact Euan Friday on 0407 558587 or Simon Young on 0427 751238.
