Another service station proposed

Mansfield Courier - - OPINIONS/PEOPLE - By PETER HUNT

MANSFIELD is to get another service station.

A planning application has been received by Mansfield Shire Council for the construction of a service station and associated convenience store at 140 High Street, in the industrial estate opposite the Mansfield Visitor Centre.

The site will have some six pump stations with entry and exit from the Maroondah Highway, subject to VicRoads approval.

A turning lane would need to be introduced for easterly traffic.

On the west side of the site there will be a payment kiosk and a convenience store with car parking for the store.

South of the forecourt and building will be a gravelled area for landscape buffering planted with native plants.
