Mansfield Secondary College annual swimming sports day
MANSFIELD Secondary College held their annual swim sports last week.
Students were dressed in house colors - blue for Hillary, yellow for Landy, green for Bader and red for Churchill - but were also aware of being sunsmart with slip, slop and slap practised.
The SRC cooked up a storm with a sausage sizzle down at the pool.
The day began with blue skies, but soon the weather changed as a thunder storm came through.
When lightning struck two of the oval light towers, students in the pool felt tingling while a teacher at the same time also felt the shocks.
Needless t o say t he pool was cleared and an end to proceedings called.
Winning house on the day was Bader (360), followed by Landy (332), Churchill (307) and Hillary (263).
