Buskers festival set to go at Bonnie Doon
A F URTHER long weekend will give everyone who likes music another outing at the Bonnie Doon Music Festival from March 14 to 16.
With around 30 acts planned, the event will appeal to all who like blues, country and western, folk, roots and jazz a weekend to remember.
Most events will be at the Bonnie Doon Recreation Reserve, but on Saturday from 11am to 1pm there’ll be a busker session in Bon Crescent, with Melbourne artists featuring special acts.
Other events will be bush poets and yarns, linedancing sessions and a bush dance workshop followed by a family bush dance on Saturday evening.
There will also be workshops for those with a hankering for harmonica, hand drum, song writing, steel guitar, didgeridoo and other instruments.
The festival is an event for the whole family – bring them along.
