Buskers fes­ti­val set to go at Bon­nie Doon

A F UR­THER long weekend will give ev­ery­one who likes mu­sic an­other out­ing at the Bon­nie Doon Mu­sic Fes­ti­val from March 14 to 16.

With around 30 acts planned, the event will ap­peal to all who like blues, coun­try and western, folk, roots and jazz a weekend to re­mem­ber.

Most events will be at the Bon­nie Doon Re­cre­ation Re­serve, but on Satur­day from 11am to 1pm there’ll be a busker ses­sion in Bon Cres­cent, with Mel­bourne artists fea­tur­ing spe­cial acts.

Other events will be bush poets and yarns, linedanc­ing ses­sions and a bush dance work­shop fol­lowed by a fam­ily bush dance on Satur­day evening.

There will also be work­shops for those with a han­ker­ing for har­mon­ica, hand drum, song writ­ing, steel gui­tar, didgeri­doo and other in­stru­ments.

The fes­ti­val is an event for the whole fam­ily – bring them along.
