Mo­le­screen re­turns to Mans­field

MANS­FIELD res­i­dents will again be able to ac­cess state of the art dig­i­tal mole screen­ing when Mo­le­screen re­turns to Mans­field early next month.

Mo­le­screen Aust, headed by Dr Tony Rogers, will be con­duct­ing an­other skin cancer clinic on Thurs­day, April 3 and Fri­day, April 4.

Coco Beauty Re­treat, who do­nate the use of their premises and book­ing ser­vice as part of their ded­i­ca­tion to help scan cancer di­ag­no­sis, is lo­cated on Mal­colm Street and en­cour­age all lo­cal res­i­dents to con­sider this life sav­ing ser­vice.

Mo­le­screen Aus­tralia spe­cialise in skin cancer screen­ing, di­ag­no­sis, man­age­ment and re­fer­ral.

The aim is to de­tect me­lanoma and non-me­lanoma skin can­cers at the ear­li­est pos­si­ble stage.

A skin cancer check-up with Mo­le­screen in­volves skin cancer risk fac­tor anal­y­sis and a full body check by a doc­tor, dig­i­tal pho­tog­ra­phy and com­puter anal­y­sis of ab­nor­mal or sus­pi­cious moles and skin le­sions us­ing the Mole­max sys­tem, and fol­lowup pho­to­graphs to check for changes in these spots.

The cost for this ser­vice has been dis­counted to $145 of which $70 is re­bated by Medi­care.
