MANSFIELD residents will again be able to access state of the art digital mole screening when Molescreen returns to Mansfield early next month.
Molescreen Aust, headed by Dr Tony Rogers, will be conducting another skin cancer clinic on Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4.
Coco Beauty Retreat, who donate the use of their premises and booking service as part of their dedication to help scan cancer diagnosis, is located on Malcolm Street and encourage all local residents to consider this life saving service.
Molescreen Australia specialise in skin cancer screening, diagnosis, management and referral.
The aim is to detect melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers at the earliest possible stage.
A skin cancer check-up with Molescreen involves skin cancer risk factor analysis and a full body check by a doctor, digital photography and computer analysis of abnormal or suspicious moles and skin lesions using the Molemax system, and followup photographs to check for changes in these spots.
The cost for this service has been discounted to $145 of which $70 is rebated by Medicare.
