March is market month
MARCH is market month in Mansfield, with three local markets in as many weeks to boast of.
Kicking off this Saturday, the CWA craft and produce market will again showcase the best in good old fashioned cooking – the kind of stuff your grandma used to make.
With cakes, produce, preserves and even some craft available on the day, make sure you get along to the CWA hall, High Street, from 10am and stock up the pantry.
Just 24 hours later and the Mansfield Lions Craft Market will be on in the median strip opposite the Mansfield Post Office, kicking off at 8am.
The Lions Market is an eclectic mix of stalls with a little bit of everything on offer, and certainly not to be missed if you happen to be in town.
The Mansfield Farmers’ Market is on Saturday, March 28 – this is a home grown market like no other.
With stringent guidelines for all stallholders, the Farmers’ Market is a great opportunity to get the very best of local produce direct from the farmer who grows it.
Running from 8.30am – 1pm in the median strip opposite the post office, make sure you head into town in time for this VFMA accredited market.
Outside of Mansfield, but within driving distance, the famous Violet Town Market will also be on Saturday, March 14.
One of the biggest regional markets in the state, the Violet Town bush market boasts around 150 stalls that range from live chickens to home grown tomatoes.
