FIRST to take the ground on Satur­day’s round of Mans­field ju­nior football were the un­der 12s.

The Blues got off to a fly­ing start and had goals on the board early in the first quar­ter.

Nathan Buchanan found him­self in a new po­si­tion at full for­ward and pro­vided plenty of op­tions, and with the help of Char­lie Har­ri­son and Michael Bur­rowes the Blues for­ward line was caus­ing some headaches.

The Bombers, who were miss­ing some play­ers, still had the fire power to keep match­ing it with the Blues.

Jo Tea­han was rack­ing up the pos­ses­sions on the wing and Tom Dun­stan was in a league of his own when it came to win­ning the ball.
