Surprise award sets high standards
IT was a huge surprise to Anne Blampied of Mansfield Leading Appliances last week when attending a National Conference on the Gold Coast for the franchise stores where she was announced as winner of the ‘Store of the Year’.
Returning to Mansfield, Mrs Blampied was still excited over her win saying she never dreamt that the Mansfield store would ever take out such a great award.
She explained that they were up against some 60 other Australia-wide stores within the franchise group.
“Well done to the team for all the hard work they have put in to achieve this,” Mrs Blampied said.
“We feel fortunate to be a member of the resilient Leading Appliances group and are very excited by its further development and future direction.
“I was absolutely thrilled to receive the Store of the Year award on behalf of my wonderful and dedicated team in Mansfield.”
Leading Appliances national group manager Nicholas Fry also praised Mrs Blampied and her team.
“The Store of the Year is awarded to the Leading Appliances store which best represents our brand and upholds the values and standards by which the Leading Appliances group of 70+ stores nationwide prides itself,” Mr Fry said.
“The criteria includes professional merchandising, signage and ticketing, strong product and brand selection, informed, professional and courteous staff, excellent overall management and being an active and proactive member of our group.
“Anne Blampied and her team at Mansfield Leading Appliances best uphold these virtues and best represent our group, and are a very deserving winner for 2016 of our Store of the Year award.”
“Congratulations to Mansfield Leading Appliances and Telecoms for taking out the prestigious Leading Appliances “Store of the Year” for 2016 at this year’s National Conference.”
