Joint movement discussion at open forum

Mansfield Courier - - COURIER | OPINIONS/PEOPLE -

MANSFIELD’S community nurse Deb Smith has invited all interested residents to attend one of two forums on joint health.

This is a chance to have your say and learn more about muscle, bone and joint health.

One in three Australians is affected by muscle, bone and joint conditions; yet these conditions receive very little attention.

“We need your voice to help us change this,” Ms Smith said.

“Help guide future investment in muscle, bone and joint research, advocacy and education.”

MOVE (formerly Arthritis Vic) is running two forums in Benalla for consumers to have their say.

The first is on Tuesday, October 11 at the Benalla Bowls Club from 2pm to 4pm (registrations from 1.30pm).

The second forum is at the same venue from 6pm to 8pm with registrations open from 5.30pm.

“We would love you to stay for the entire session but we understand people have other commitments so feel free to come late or leave early, any contribution is greatly appreciated,” Ms Smith said.

You can register your interest before Tuesday, October 4 by calling 1800 263 265 for more information.
