Get into the fiery spirit at the Merrijig Ball

Mansfield Courier - - WHAT’S ON -

FIND the brightest thing in your wardrobe – then add some more colour.

That’s how vibrant the first Merrijig Ball is going to be.

Planned for this Saturday at the Merrijig Hall, the ball is a joint fundraiser for both the hall committee and the Merrijig CFA.

If there was ever an excuse to dress up as a fireball, fundraising for two worthwhile community groups is it.

To be known as the Fire Ready Ball, guests are asked to get into the theme of things and rummage through the wardrobe – the bolder the better.

Bright oranges, fluro reds and whatever comes to mind when you think Firey is perfect for the occasion – maybe dress up as the local CFA truck or whatever gets your engine going.

There will be drinks, nibbles, raffle and door prizes – and an electric atmosphere fitting for a flame themed ball.

The music will be provided by local resident Roger Nolan, who has an impressive entertainment history which he will no doubt bring along to the event.

For more information and tickets contact John McCombe on 0409 230 098 or Louise Jacob on 0419 346 249.

Tickets are also available at the Country Tales Bookstore in High Street, and will be available for purchase on the night.
