Mans­field Pri­mary School took out the award for most par­tic­i­pat­ing stu­dents at this year’s half marathon and fun run held dur­ing the High Coun­try Fes­ti­val. At last Fri­day’s school assem­bly rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the Third Hand vol­un­teer group pre­sented the school and stu­dents with a cheque for $1000 – the re­wards for a job well done. At the pre­sen­ta­tion were (from left) Mike Ir­win, Jenna Reid, Darcy Ni­chols, Elise Em­pey, Elain Ir­win and Ge­off Wil­liams. Also pre­sented were sev­eral in­di­vid­ual prizes to stu­dents who placed in the run­ning of the 2km fun run.
