Name the Youth Hub skate park
THE Mansfield Youth Hub development is tracking on time and budget, and Mansfield Shire Council couldn’t be happier with the progress to date.
“With the majority of the concreting works now completed, the Youth Hub is fast becoming a reality for all the local skaters and BMX riders,” said Mayor Paul Volkering
“In addition, council has recently launched a naming competition for this exciting new facility.”
During the planning phase of this project the facility was branded ‘The Mansfield Youth Hub’.
This name has caused some confusion with the youth facility in Erril Street, so council is looking for a new name.
“Council would love to hear your name suggestions, and we have a family season pass for the Mansfield Swimming Pool 2016/17 season available to the person with the winning name suggestion,” said Cr Volkering.
Name suggestions can be posted on council’s Facebook page on the post relating to the Youth Hub name, or alternatively, suggestions can be emailed to dan.pur[email protected]field.vic.gov.au or phoned through to council on 5775 8555 by November 25.
Council will then shortlist the name suggestions before running a Facebook poll to select the final name.
For any enquiries, please phone council on 5775 8555.
