Title of Show engages audience

Mansfield Courier - - OPINIONS/PEOPLE -

TITLE of Show is a musical which chronicles its own creation as an entry in the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and follows the struggles of the author and composer/lyricist and their two actress friends during the initial brief (three-week) creative period, along with subsequent events leading up to the show’s production.

It may not have been on everyone’s radar as something familiar and therefore is a must see, but Title of Show gave the opening night audience of over 100 a wow night of entertainment.

Many were promising to come along to see it again.

Mansfield Musical and Dramatic Society (MMuDS) is very proud to be presenting this show with its pared back sets, small cast and focus on the interactions between the characters.

“It’s great that we can put ourselves out there and do work of different genres,” said MMuDS president, Michael Isbister.

“The show is a credit to the cast and crew and a big hand to Cathie Smith for choosing and directing such an engaging and well performed show.”

SUCCESS: Simone Reeder on piano as Mary, Courtney Smith as Heidi, Alicia Follett as Susan, Lachlan Barrett as Hunter and Hayley Robinson Smith as Jeff.
