Mansfield Hotel is prepared for winter

Mansfield Courier - - ALIVE -

THE Mansfield Hotel is an award winning family friendly restaurant run by Craig and Tom German.

Being situated at the gateway of the High Country and being in close proximity to the Mount Buller snow fields is part of what makes the Mansfield Hotel a perfect place to stop and grab a meal on your way up or down from the mountain.

With winter well and truly under way, we decided it was time to give Mansfield Hotel a visit.

With very quick and friendly service from staff, we ordered a chicken parma and a Thai beef salad.

The crumbed chicken arrived, and was topped with napoli sauce, ham and cheese.

The parma was also served with salad and chips, with an option of vegetables, and to top it off nicely, a crisp glass of red wine.

The Thai beef salad was flavoured with lime chilli and coconut marinated beef strips, which were tossed through a crisp and refreshing garden salad with some crispy noodles.

Overall, we really enjoyed two well-cooked meals that warmed us up on a fresh winter’s day.

WINTER’S HERE: Various top class meals can be enjoyed anytime at the Mansfield Hotel.
