Wintry weather on the green
TUESDAY’S event saw 24 players out in some wintry weather for a Stableford event.
The winner was Bob Speed (25) with 40 points from Tom Buzza (27) with 38 points.
Ball rundown went t o 34 on a countback.
Nearest the pin on the third was Oliver Pearson, on the seventh was Bob Speed and on the sixteenth was Chris Leaman.
The NTP second shot on the eighteenth was collected by Brad Grant.
Thursday’s event saw a smaller than usual field of 39 golfers wandering the course for the regular Stableford event with some good scores being returned.
There was one player competing in the gold event.
The winner of Division One was Oliver Pearson (3) with 37 points from Brad Grant (9) with 36 points.
The winner of Division Two was Peter Hunt (34) also with 37 points from Geoff Morris (18) with 36 points.
Ball run down went to 34 points on a countback.
Nearest the pins were Oliver Pearson on the third, Maurie Walsh on the ninth, Nick Siperki on the twelfth and Sam Sandhu on the sixteenth.
Dan Robertson collected the NTP second shot on the tenth and Bill Parsons picked up the NTP second shot on the seventeenth.
The rabbits were Bill Moran and Adam Holt.
The Gold event saw Les Wood (33) win with 25 points.
Saturday saw a rather wet start to the Stableford event, with 24 players out and about.
The winner was Oliver Pearson (2) with 38 points from Bill Parsons (15) with 37 points.
The ball rundown went to 32 points on a countback.
Nearest the pin on the third was Rod Sargent and on the sixteenth was Bill Parsons.
