November 10: Targa Festival. Head down on Saturday afternoon for a close inspection of the vehicles and a chat with the drivers in Mansfield’s main street. Food stalls, live music, entertainment and children’s activities. More than 200 cars (Vintage, Classic, Modern and GT Competition) are expected in Mansfield and Mt Buller across three days.
November 13: Mansfield Bush Poets Gathering at Mansfield Library, 2pm to 4pm. Listen, Enjoy or Share great poetry and prose in a relaxed atmosphere. Contact Liz 0400 603 134.
November 17: Trivia at the Merrijig Primary School. Get the whole family together for a sensational night of fun – do you know who Peppa Pig’s brother is? We bet the kids do! But do they know what show Alf Stewart is on? This is a night where kids will know as much as the parents, and everyone can enjoy a picnic in the late evening afternoon. Fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a seasons pass to AquaZone at Mulwala and accommodation to go with it – valued at almost $2000. Auction on the night. November 22: A community information meeting about an exciting new project coming to town – the Mansfield Community Hospice Limited. Session will cover information on the planned opening of a five bed palliative care facility. Seeking interest from those who may wish to be in the project, or learn more about it. All welcome. Information session will be held at the Delatite Hotel at 7pm.
November 24: A true farmers’ market in Victoria’s High Country. With an array of stalls offering everything from cheese, wine and cider, vegetables, fruit, bread and baked goods, ice-cream – there is something for everyone. To be held between 8.30am and 1.30pm.
November 24: From 11am to 5pm, this year’s Guest Cellar Door will be held at the beautiful Magnolia House in Mansfield - home to Ros Ritchie wines. Savour seven Local Wine Labels in the stunning surrounds with live music and gourmet grazing and cheese platters available for purchase. Entry is free. November 29: Celebrate the launch Mansfield’s new vintage market – Vintage Traders Emporium. It will be a market style event with visiting food and beverage trucks and stalls, a vintage photo booth to take photos of yourself in vintage gear. There will be a DJ playing vintage vinyl music. See the art space available for workshops and exhibitions. The event will run from 5.00pm to 8.00pm and will be free admission.
