Novem­ber 10: Targa Fes­ti­val. Head down on Satur­day af­ter­noon for a close in­spec­tion of the ve­hi­cles and a chat with the driv­ers in Mans­field’s main street. Food stalls, live mu­sic, en­ter­tain­ment and children’s ac­tiv­i­ties. More than 200 cars (Vin­tage, Clas­sic, Mod­ern and GT Com­pe­ti­tion) are ex­pected in Mans­field and Mt Buller across three days.

Novem­ber 13: Mans­field Bush Po­ets Gath­er­ing at Mans­field Li­brary, 2pm to 4pm. Lis­ten, En­joy or Share great po­etry and prose in a re­laxed at­mos­phere. Con­tact Liz 0400 603 134.

Novem­ber 17: Trivia at the Mer­ri­jig Pri­mary School. Get the whole fam­ily to­gether for a sen­sa­tional night of fun – do you know who Peppa Pig’s brother is? We bet the kids do! But do they know what show Alf Ste­wart is on? This is a night where kids will know as much as the par­ents, and ev­ery­one can en­joy a pic­nic in the late evening af­ter­noon. Fan­tas­tic prizes up for grabs, in­clud­ing a sea­sons pass to AquaZone at Mul­wala and ac­com­mo­da­tion to go with it – val­ued at al­most $2000. Auc­tion on the night. Novem­ber 22: A com­mu­nity in­for­ma­tion meet­ing about an ex­cit­ing new project com­ing to town – the Mans­field Com­mu­nity Hos­pice Lim­ited. Ses­sion will cover in­for­ma­tion on the planned open­ing of a five bed pal­lia­tive care fa­cil­ity. Seek­ing in­ter­est from those who may wish to be in the project, or learn more about it. All wel­come. In­for­ma­tion ses­sion will be held at the De­latite Ho­tel at 7pm.

Novem­ber 24: A true farm­ers’ mar­ket in Vic­to­ria’s High Coun­try. With an ar­ray of stalls of­fer­ing ev­ery­thing from cheese, wine and cider, veg­eta­bles, fruit, bread and baked goods, ice-cream – there is some­thing for ev­ery­one. To be held be­tween 8.30am and 1.30pm.

Novem­ber 24: From 11am to 5pm, this year’s Guest Cel­lar Door will be held at the beau­ti­ful Mag­no­lia House in Mans­field - home to Ros Ritchie wines. Savour seven Lo­cal Wine La­bels in the stun­ning sur­rounds with live mu­sic and gourmet graz­ing and cheese plat­ters avail­able for pur­chase. En­try is free. Novem­ber 29: Cel­e­brate the launch Mans­field’s new vin­tage mar­ket – Vin­tage Traders Em­po­rium. It will be a mar­ket style event with vis­it­ing food and bev­er­age trucks and stalls, a vin­tage photo booth to take pho­tos of your­self in vin­tage gear. There will be a DJ play­ing vin­tage vinyl mu­sic. See the art space avail­able for work­shops and ex­hi­bi­tions. The event will run from 5.00pm to 8.00pm and will be free ad­mis­sion.
