THE last two weeks has seen Mans­field Ju­nior Cricket up and run­ning at the Mans­field Rec Re­serve.

2/10 teams bat­tle ev­ery Wed­nes­day night, with train­ing at Lords on Mon­day nights.

Game one saw the Mid­dle Stumpers de­feat The Bushranger­s 101 to 81.

Henry Ber­ri­man 36 and Logan Reid 24 were the top scor­ers, Harry Crad­dock with 4/11 and a great catch saw him win the Choices Cafe Award.

Nate Longstaff with 16 top scored for the Bushranger­s.

Game two again had the Stumpers on top, led by Logan Reid (17), Ethan Pig­don (7) and Cody Men­nen (9), who were the top scor­ers.

Billy Ploschke, Noah Pig­don and Will Fri­day were the dual wicket tak­ers.

Ross En­gle­doe (6) hit his first bound­ary along with Will Fri­day (9) and Nate Longstaff (12), who were the top scor­ers.

Best bowl­ing went to young Josh Tay­lor with 3/2 which saw him take home the Choices Cafe award for the week.

Henry Ber­ri­man was the other dual wicket taker with 2/4.

Fi­nal scores had the Stumpers vic­to­ri­ous 66 runs to the Bushies 54.

It’s good to see many new keen crick­eters hav­ing a go and tak­ing wick­ets and mak­ing some runs.
